Chapman Dairy - Hillman     Reportedly to be selling milk in 1920's.   According to a state inspection record, Fred Chapman was selling milk in 1946.

Pine Grove Dairy - Hillman MI  Owned by Carlos & Catherine Beckington.  They bought the Joseph Carrier farm on the North end of Hillman's main street and ran the dairy from 1949-53.   In 1953 Carlos and his family moved back to the Saline, MI area to continue farming.   Carlos passed away from a farming accident in 1962.

Carrier Dairy - Hillman, MI  Joseph Carrier was the owner of a dairy farm on the North end of Main street in Hillman.   He operated the dairy in the 1930's until selling the dairy in 1949 to Carlos Beckington who ran the dairy as the Pine Grove Dairy of Hillman.   
I have been told they had a bottle with their name on it, but I can only find the bottle caps they used

C. E. Burns Dairy  - Lewiston, MI   Cary E. and Cory Burns moved to the Lewiston area from Ohio in 1920.   He was a farmer, undertaker and handyman who then delivered milk in the Lewiston area in clear glass bottles.   They had no children of their own, but did raise nieces and nephews on the farm which was located where the ACE hardware now stands in Lewiston.  He passed away in 1960.  

Baker & Son Dairy - Atlanta, MI        Harrison Baker came to the Atlanta area in 1922.  He took the train to Detroit in the midst of a late March snow storm, to secure financing for his farm, just southwest of Atlanta.    In 1927 rural students were to attend the new Atlanta school, but since there were no buses, Harrison was contracted by the school to supply transportation on his Ford truck with a shed built on the back by the local blacksmith.  When the snow got too deep that winter, a shed was built on a set of horse drawn sleighs which Harrison used to transport the kids to school, it was headed by a chicken brooder heater with 2 house windows for light.  E.H. Peter Harper Dairy - Atlanta, MI        The dairy was noted from 1914-1946 (state dairy inspection records) , located in Avery twps. near Atlanta, MI.   The exact years are uncertain, but known to exist for 32 years.   Peter was active with the state board of Agriculture in 197-1918 as a representative from Northern Michigan.   Peter was born in 1885, passed away on June 29, 1956.
