We are a local, family owned business serving the Northern Michigan area and surrounding communities near my family hometown of Alpena!
After working with a multitude of auctioneers from Northeast Michigan since my teenage years, I attended the Reppert School of Auctioneering and began my own auction company in 1999. We are a family oriented business that pays special attention to the personal needs of the families and businesses we serve. You can count on our honesty and if we see a better way to market your merchandise, we will openly share different options with you. Our goal is to provide personalized advice based upon your needs and current market trends.
We offer online sales of items, onsite auctions, tag sales, moving personal property to a rental site, combining estates and complete buyouts. If you are planning a garage sale of your own, we will be glad to provide free consultation on the best way to market your goods.
As a teen, my family was involved in estate purchasing, antiques and collectibles and of course, farming. Our business work ethic has been developed on the farm where many of my family and employees continue to live. We are well versed in antiques, collectibles and farm related sales with the marketing skills to earn you the best return on your property.
In the past 40 years, I have been a teacher, farmer, counselor, appraiser, 4-H & FFA advisor that has donated countless hours to worthy causes. As a fundraising auctioneer, I have assisted many benefits and charities by donating my auction skills to families with medical crisis, hospitals, museums, educational support groups, churches, sport programs, environmental causes as well as banquets for sporting groups.
Associate auctioneer, Jerrod Villarreal married my daughter, Stephanie and has been working with the auction company since it's inception. Jerrod has done many benefit auctions and is available by calling him directly for bookings. Now my son, Allen Sumerix as well as grandson, Chris Villarreal have been stepping in to assist calling auctions as well.

We offer many options for your auction set up.... we have conducted onsite sales that reduce the cost of set up/moving items.... we have rented halls for sales that provide more comfort but may increase costs.... we have combined estates to create a larger sale, reducing individual costs, therefore increasing profits.
We are able to set up, display, move, haul, store, inventory, catalog, and market your property to bring you the best financial return.
